Our Winter 2024 book choice is: The Heroine’s Journey by Maureen Murdock.

This book describes contemporary woman's search for wholeness in a society in which she has been defined according to masculine values. Drawing upon cultural myths and fairy tales, ancient symbols and goddesses, and the dreams of contemporary women, Murdock illustrates the need for—and the reality of—feminine values in Western culture today.

We will begin reading in January. In addition to reserving your spot in our community book discussion, please purchase the book at your retailer of choice and begin reading!

What to Expect:

This is a low stress situation ladies! We will take our time with reading the book over an 8 week period. No pressure. No guilt. Just support.

During that time, journaling guides will be posted here to work on at your own pace.

Our group will also have the opportunity to connect and share reflections and questions on our community page. (coming soon)

We will meet once at the end to discuss our book journey both online & in-person (Hendersonville, NC) to enjoy connection, thought-provoking conversation and always… laughter. You may choose to attend one or both discussions if able.

Reading Dates: January 29th-March 18th
